Premiere Pro CS4 wont play more than a couple of milliseconds of rendered video
I’ve just started a new project in Premiere Pro CS4.
The project renders fine but as soon as I try to play it back it will only move the play head about 8-10 milliseconds before jumping back to where it started. The weird thing is the video plays fine in bridge as it’s just a regular QT file. But as soon as it’s in premiere it just wont play for any length of time.
Not sure if it’s related but when scrolling along the time line, past where the playhead is located, the timeline will scroll for a bit and then jump back immediately to where the playhead is.
The video scrubs through with the playhead absolutely fine. The porblem just occurs when trying to play the footage back.
Any ideas?
