Premiere Pro CS4 Audio Conforming Speed
I have a quad core 3gb with 8 gbs of RAM and 7200rpm hard drives in my system. For some reason, when I record Hd (DVCPro HD to be exact)the audio conforming takes about 4 to 5 seconds per minute recorded. Ten minutes of footage takes almost a minute to conform. Does anyone know how to speed up the audio conforming in Premiere Pro CS4? Any ideas Vince Becquiot?

Hi Charles,
A couple of things, make sure the media cache and preview files are set to their own drive, the faster the better obviously.
Is this DVC Pro from a p2 card? Are you getting a red render bar?
