Premiere Pro crashes when it opens windows explorer.
Hey guys,
Running into a strange bug that hopefully someone has a solution for. Basically Premiere Pro keeps crashing every time it needs to open Windows Explorer. For example, when browsing for a LUT to add into the lumetri color “creative” panel, it crashes. When I go to file>import, it crashes. Any time I need to “browse” for something outside of Premiere it seems to crash.
Has anyone experienced this and been able to fix it?

Hi there,
I realize this is an old thread – but I have had the same issue for months now (with current and previous version) and it drives me crazy. It’s like the window is hidden somewhere. You have to ctrl alt delete to reload.
This can be disastrous when you haven’t saved after a big edit. Did you figure out a solution? Has this happened to anyone else?
I phoned support and they were beyond useless. Very disappointing.
