Premiere Pro CC showing strange problem with still images
Since last week, PP has been displaying some strange problems like .mp4 files going off sync, and now this with still images. I’m not quite sure how to describe it, but it renders along with the video and it’s a big problem to me. I’ve tried reinstalling PP, but that did nothing.

Please help me. I don’t like to bump posts like this, but I’ll need to edit a short film for film school soon and FCP is horrible.

Hey there! I came to post about the exact same thing! Found the answer on adobe forums. Go to File, project settings, general, and click the “renderer” drop down menu, select Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.

OK, I solved my problem now. Sorry for the unnecessary bump.
I changed the Renderer to “Mercury Playback Engine Software Only”, and that fixed it.
