(PREMIERE PRO CC 2018) .mov File Only Showing Up as a .wav File
Hi all! I’m having this issue with this one .mov file where it only shows up as an audio file when inserted into Premiere Pro. Any thoughts? Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
1. Importing it into Adobe Prelude and then into Premiere. (It plays perfectly in Prelude, but not so much in Premiere.)
2. Checked to make sure that it plays through quick time. (It works perfectly.)I know that the file itself is not corrupt as we use this video for a weekly livestream through Pro-Presenter.
I’m not sure what the solution may be, but I would greatly appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

This issue with 12.1 is well documented in many below threads. Take a read, and it will help you understand and (possibly) work around the problem.The simplest thing to do is re-install and work with 12.0 for the time being, until Adobe releases a patch.
They have been abysmal with the 12.1 and subsequent 12.1.1 releases.
