Premiere Pro CC 2015 – playhead auto gap
I’m new to Premiere Pro, and I don’t know what this is called, but I assume it’s to help with dissolves.
There’s an automatic lead added to the playhead to show where the actual cut happens; I’ve included an image.
This happens on the timeline, program monitor, and source monitor.
This wouldn’t bother me so much if the Program Monitor showed the footage at the marker, but overall its unintuitive and I always end up with a bunch of extra footage I have to trim later.
Is there a way to disable this?
