    Hi guys,

Using Warp stabilizer on the latest Adobe CC 2014, I have run into an issue. When I apply it, the stabilizing works, however it leaves a strange artifact in the video. when I playback with the stabilizing enabled, it starts flickering. It’s not just the preview window, because when I render out the video, the flickering is still there. I’ve tried altering all of the settings within warp stabilizer, but to no avail.

    I had the same issue.
Solved it by changing the GPU acceleration from OpenCL to CUDA.
This is found in Project settings.

Interesting. What’s the format of the video you’ve applied it to? I would try converting to ProRes or some other formats before importing to AE. Also try precomping the video and applying the effect to the comp.

Thank you Mihali Moore for posting your solution. This is a serious bug and one which is delaying my delivery to the client.

Definitely won’t ever be using the latest releases from now on until they’ve had time to settle (we’re still on CS6 at work and truly thankful for it after this!)

I submitted a bug request with Adobe for this issue. We’re seeing it on ProRes 422HQ Exports when a warp stabilize is added. Switching the Graphics to Software Only works but it’s slowing us down.
