Premiere Pro CC 2014 Audio Tracks
I’m a long time user of Premiere and I’m editing my first project in CC 2014.
My usual workflow is that I go through my shots, make in and out points of selects and send them to the timeline using the , button.After going through a lengthy day of shooting, I realized that none of the clips’ audio made it to the timeline.
Can someone tell me what happened, what I need to do in the future to avoid this, and please tell me there’s an easy way to marry the appropriate audio with the clips on my timeline?

track patching is the likely culprit.
for any source you have loaded into the source viewer….
you need to make sure the source audio tracks are paired to the timeline tracks you want them to go to (left side of audio patch) AND that the timeline tracks are enabled to receive that audio(right side of audio patch).
otherwise you will not have success…

It’s pretty straight forward. Go to the start of a clip in the timeline that needs audio, match frame back to the source clip, do a replace or overwrite edit. If you map the next edit, match frame and overwrite commands to the keyboard it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.
