Premiere Pro 5.5.1 clips disappear then reappear
Posted this a few days ago in the Basics forum with no response so I thought I’d give a try over here…
I downloaded a trial of Premiere Pro a few weeks back and was getting a good feel for things. As of yesterday though I am noticing that some clips disappear from the Project window. If I close up shop and restart, they’re there again. But then at some point they vanish. I was able to open another bin, close that and reopen the one before and files appeared, but not so much the last few times. I’ve turned off the thumbnails in the Timeline, none in the Project window either. Anyone have thoughts on this?

Thanks. I had considered that, though right now I’m without an internet connection at home.

resolved with the upgrade.

Actually I made a typo. I fixed without upgrading. I figured out that it always happened after I did a search. Since the search criteria was still selected nothing else showed up. My bad, still learning the software.
