    Hello-
I used a font called Gautami in my latest film. I want to do a new render on a faster machine but Gautami does not look right on the 2nd machine, it is using a different font. Either Gautami was wrong on the original computer or it is wrong on the 2nd. Gautami looks like a sans serif exactly like Estrangelo Edessa on the 1st computer but smaller. Neither font looks right in PS. Not sure what gives- is there a way to see exactly what font file is being used for a given font in the title maker?
    thanks

What kind of operating system are you using? Either way its impossible to see the referenced fonts (in a folder path manner) inside Premiere or in any other NLE for that matter, you’re just watching a list.

However either on Windows or MacOSX there’s a folder which has the fonts installed and you can check on duplicates. On the Mac there’s there’s the difference of having a user fonts folder and system fonts folder with the former being of course only available and visible from the user logged on pertaining to its fonts folder.

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers.

Windows XP pro- I checked the fonts folder- deleted Gautami, re-installed it from another machine. No dice. Not sure what in the heck PP is doing. Will just have to figure out what font it really is by sight. Thanks
