Have you considered updating to 2017.0.2?

Did it used to work and now it does not? Could it be the Nvidia display card drivers?

I will be checking if I can update to newer version. It did work before. Im not sure how and when this happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing. Today I uninstalled again and also used Adobe Cleaning tool but wont install before I get newer version. Still tough it should never use 100% to freezing Premiere with such powerful CPU.

Other formats, full hd wont even play perfectly.

Greetings. Clean install, of new version 2017 1.02. It got better by 15%. There has to me some massive bug or failure somewhere.

Is it set for OpenCL or CUDA acceleration?

I would switch to OpenCL if it is currently CUDA or vice versa (something to try)
I had awful lag with 1080p AVC multicam with CUDA but switching to OpenCL solved it.

There was some buggy cuda stuff going on recently.

If that does nothing try disabling mercury transmit if it is enabled.
    That might help too.

    Nice system by the way!
