Premiere Pro 2.0: ‘Export to Tape’ creates movies that stutter
Posted this problem a few weeks ago after finishing a movie on Tahiti that I shot. I ‘exported to tape’ and got my HDV footage on to tape, but the tape stutters, or pauses for a second, every few minutes in a 20 minute movie. It’s almost like I’ve manually paused the tape even though it’s in play mode (Sony Z1U). I tried exporting my movie a few different times onto other new tapes (the last was Sony’s best “Digital HD Video” HDV tape), and the problem persists. Also, of the three tapes I’ve made, the stuters don’t ever occur in the same place, it’s random. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as this is ruins the experience of watching the movie.
