Premiere Pro 2: Whats the best DVD settings?
Hi, I have Premiere Pro 2.0 and although have been burning DVDs for a while now I have never been completely sure of exactly what setting I should have it on. Should it be on 7MB CBR or 7MB VBR???? And which field option should I use? Lower or Upper or Progressive? Thanks!!!

Basically, VBR 2 pass is the best option, but will mean that you are on average doubling the rendering time.
As far as bit rate goes, it depends on how much video you are trying to fit on the DVD. That’s usually a good setting to fit an hour or so of video. Lower field, and interlaced is what you should probably use, unless you know the DVD will mostly be played on plasma / LCD screen screen, or projection with a progressive capable DVD player.
