Premiere Pro 1.5.1 crashing on new dual core PC
Just got a new P4 dual core PC (Asus P5WD2-E, 930 3G processor, 2G Ram, 2 SATA video drives/onboard Marvel 614x raid, ATI X800 graphics card).
This PC is stable on everything except Premiere Pro. On boot or sometimes on the timeline, PP crashes to black and causes the PC to re-boot. Again, AE, Photoshop, DVDWS, MS Office — all run perfectly!
Is there a compatability problem with this hardware and PP, anything I can try to fix the problem??

There may be a software conflict. Have you tried shutting down all bacground processes? Shut down all background processes and then launch Premiere Pro to see if the problem exists.
