Premiere Pro 1.5 sound playback issue
Sorry if this is a dumb question but… I have been editing a short film from my DV camera together with Premiere Pro 1.5 and often the sound will not playback when I click play. When scrubbing through, the jittery frame sound pieces (for lack of a better thing to call them…?) still play but the sound cannot be heard just when playing the sequence. I have solved the problem before by waiting an hour and by restarting premiere (which only sometimes works). Any ideas of what i should try or what is going on would be very helpful! Thanks.

– oh, and I can get the sound to play back through my optura Xi when having this problem fine when i hook it up…

Audio playback can be thru your DV device OR PC speakers, not both. The setting is in Playback Options. This is located by clicking the Output button at the bottom of the Program monitor.

I seem to remember having it play on both… but i am probably confusing it with the capture process which plays it on both!
