Premiere pro 1.5 is capturing with some kind of spill over
I don’t really know what to call it so I’ll explain what happens instead. When I go to view and capture from my DVcam (sony DCR-PC110E) the video is displayed with the bottom fifth cut off and showing the top fifth as if it has copied over. It’s displayed fine on my tv and through the cameras lcd viewing screen. Has anyone got any ideas. I’m capturing through firewire on an AMD based pc running xp pro sp2.

What project settings did you use when you first started the project?

adobe DV Pal preset 32khz and also tried 48khz.
I’ve just realised that the actual captured video plays back fine through win media player and the premiere video monitor. When I capture it looks screwed up though. I guess I can live with that but it would be nice to get rid of that over spill problem.

Just where are you seeing this foldover, on the source and program monitors?
