Premiere preview files no longer rendered when project reopened
Hi, so I have a premiere project which contains 99% dynamic linked files to after effects. ‘Ive completed all of the composites in AE and now I’d like to do the finishing touches in Premiere. Realtime playback is basically impossible because of the heavy plugin use in AE.So I rendered out the preview files in premiere which took about 7 hours. It worked for a bit but some of the previews would randomly disappear even though I haven’t changed the original linked AE file / Comp. Premiere would then require me to re-render those parts. When I came back to work on the file again today after I closed premiere about 80% of the timeline in premiere shows that it has no preview… Am I misunderstanding how preview files work or is this a bug?
