So I was encoding some clips so I could edit them without stuttering playback and I noticed that Premiere wasn’t using all of my CPU cycles to do this. It was only using about 20% of each core.

Is there a way to force Premiere to use all available cycles when encoding something? I just tested on some regular DV footage that I effected and color corrected and when it rendered, it used everything available. The other stuff was wmv’s recorded from a webcam and I’m guessing that that had something to do with it. Any idea why it wouldn’t use everything on the other piece?
