    Hi all,

Trying to figure out a resolve for an issue I’m having in Premiere.
I would like to play a clip and set in/out points along the way.

The problem is, when I do this, it does NOT highlight the clip in the timeline. I want to be able to use the keyboard, select the part of the clip within the in/out points, and move it up/down between tracks.

No keyboard shortcuts can be found for Nudge UP or DOWN in my Premiere Keyboard Shortcuts as well.

NOTE: i’ve seen this question posted before, no answer really achieved yet. Hoping someone can figure this out!

If you aren’t using CC, there isn’t a way to move clips up and down.

If you are using CC, then it’s Alt (Opt)+cursor up/down

Yes, Tim. Also, if you’re using “Final Cut Pro” shortcuts in CC, nudge clip selection up/down does need to be set manually.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Oh yes, the FCP shortcuts…why would someone use those again? 🙂
