Premiere is re-conforming audio files a second time. Why?
For some reason Premiere starting reconforming all the audio files a second time, essentially duplicating the Conformed Audio folder. Why would it do that? It’s taking up all my HD space. I have an hour long movie and have 49GB of conformed audio files (and counting). Is there any way to stop this and why did it start in the first place?

Yes it is premiere pro and I am editing video pulled from DV tapes.
If you re-save the project to a new name does it automatically reconform all the files again?
