  Premiere has to conform files every time

  hey everyone,
  thanks for taking a look at my issue. ive got a project with many different types of file formats but the issue seems to be with the AVCHD files- 1080p @60fps. my media cache folder is set to the root of the USB3 drive that the ftg lives on yet every time i open the project everything needs to be cached again. it takes forever and its making me crazy. shouldnt it only have to cache upon import?
