    Premiere freezes when I try to Render Replace audio track to Audition CS6

    Hi,

    I’m having massive frustations with Premiere and Audition CS6.

    I edit Weddings, and when I’ve got 45mins of speeches (broken into 10-15 minutes clips) I need to be able to ‘Edit in Adobe Audition’ so I can ‘Hard limit’ all the tracks to -6dB. Without this function, whenever a speechmaker gets excited and lifts the mic too close, your ears will be blown off.

    EVERYTIME I try to use the ‘Edit Clip in Adobe Audition’ function, it freezes. The ‘Render & Replace’ progress box comes up, but nothing happens – except the spinning wheel of death.

    Any ideas? I’m running Mac OSX 10.7.4 – 27″ iMac late 2011 3.4GHz intel core i7 with 16GB RAM.

    same thing… Prem crashes when I rt. click “edit in audition”
