    Hi there,

Shortly after the release of I believe CC 2014 I noticed that exports from Premiere began to automatically add themselves to the project as a media file. This is great and all but I almost always move my exports to various other locations upon export. Because of this, whenever I open up my project again I get the “media offline” dialog window, but its only because my export has moved and nothing essential to the edit/project has actually changed.

Is there a way to stop having Premiere automatically add exports and treat them as project media? I get annoyed having to deal with the media offline dialog box when I do not really want to add my export as media to my project to begin with.

    Thank you!

There is a checkbox on the exporter, near bottom I think that says “Import into project”

    uncheck that.

there is also one in the export dialog when taking still frames.
