Premiere Export freezes but length is correct

May 26, 2022 at 6:48 pmI am experiencing a random issue with exports not rendering out correctly. Exporting 1080p timeline in to out to Media Encoder. I’ve done this a million times, but in the last 6 months or so, the export might be perfect for about 80% of the video length, but then, the image and sound freezes, while the timeline continues to play to the correct length. Using QT Pro Res and H.264 does not change this issue. Re-rendering the sequence then gives the same result but freezes a few seconds or frames earlier or later each time. So random. EVENTUALLY, I can get it exported but only after many tries, reboots, etc. HELP!
MacBook Pro mid 2015 16MB Ram, OS 11.6.6 Big Sur, Premiere Pro 2022 v22.4.0. build 57

May 27, 2022 at 1:22 pmWe have this issue where it dies at about 90% in using h264.
The clip shows full length but not when viewing.
The video freezes at the same percentage.
I say percentage since it’s dependent on the length of the clip.In our case, we export to ProRes first then render to h264.
One culprit was an imported logo animation from AE.
Once we replaced it was fine but the issue has come back again.
It’s been going on since CC 2019 for us in Premiere.
