First, let me apologise for the double post. I have posted this question on the Calf; Premier Elements forum, but there does not seem to be much ativity over there. So if anyone here is familiar with the problem, I would appreciate your help.

When trying to copy / paste a clip from one project to another in 2.0, I have found that the clipboard is empty. This feature was supported in v.1 and it indicates in the user manual that 2.0 should support it as well. Anyone else find this problem?

Note: I AM able to copy / paste within a single project (from sequence to sequence or within a sequence) but when the project is closed, the clipboard seems to clear.

    Any help appreciated.

I don’t work in Premiere Elements, but you should be able to just import another project into your current project.

File>import and select the project file.

I understand that you are trying to paste a single clip, but I didn’t think that copy and paste worked in Premiere in the first place.

The copy/paste function worked in Version 1 of Elements (functionality may differ between Elements and Pro then).

I’m trying to avoid importing another project, just to reduce clutter and workflow problems. But I will try out the import idea.

The copy/paste between projects thingy does not work with Elements 3 either.
