I’m using Premiere Pro to record voice-over in a project in the Audio Mixer window. I’m using a Samsung Go Mic (USB)

When I record an audio track and hit stop most times the audio file shows up in the Project window as a white rectangle with “recycle arrows” as opposed to the “speaker” icon. The recorded audio track is blank. BUT if I shut down Premiere and open it back up the audio file is there and plays normally.

Suggestions as to whats going on?

Are you recording the file as a wave file? What version or Premiere are you running?

Go under Help in Premiere and select update. Then see if there are updates.

What OS is this on? Are you recording to an internal or external drive?

What happens if you record to the OS drive?

That seems to work… Thanks!!! Any idea why it wouldn’t record to the external 5400rpm drive?

Also, Eric, do you have any expertise in PC Builds for Video Editing?
