Premiere cs4 non responsive, playback of import and fx do not work
I’m using premiere cs4, the program will import, but will only recognize the first six seconds of video of a four min. clip. As the four minute clip plays from start to finish only the first six seconds of visual footage is played back. As well as I scroll through the entire time-line video does not respond at all. Lastly adding effects to the clip do not work at all, when cropping or using any other effect, the program simply isn’t responding.

Hi George,
Can you tell us what codec and format properties your clip has and the sequence you are working with?

Avi 640*480, codec and seq.? I dont know how to get the answer for those.
