    Hi everyone,
i do have a huge and urgent problem.
I recently bought the Nikon D4 and the Atomos Ninja.
At first Premiere wouldn’t let me open the files that came out of the ninja. Later I found out that it had an issue with 4 channels recording, so I set the ninja to record via hdmi only.
In the meantime I saw there was an update for Premiere that was supposed to fix this bug, so I updated the software.
I also flashed the Ninja’s firmware, for that matter.

Now not only Premiere doesn’t open the files (whereas, for instance, After Effects CS 5.5 seems to do the trick), but it crashes the Media Core thing, resulting in Premiere being unable to open anything else.

I really need to fix this, but so far no luck.
    I’m running Premiere on a PC, Win 7 64, 8gb ram

Did anyone experience this as well?
    Please!!!
    C.

FYI, mediacore crashes when, right after importing, it says “creating peak file” or something like that, in the bottom right corner.

    …just to let you know…

I just found out that, thanks to iTunes, I had to update quicktime, although quicktime itself didn’t know it had to update.
I updated to ver 7.7.1 and now it looks like it’s working just fine…
