Hi, when dragging a Sequence with many video and audio layers into another Sequence in PP CC, the Sequence I am dragging shows up with its many seperate video and audio layers in the new Sequence (as it is in the original sequence).

Is there a simple setting that I can set it to appear as a single video layer and audio layer in the new sequence? I don’t want to nest it.

That’s kind of the definition of NESTING. What you are describing IS nesting.

Premiere CC has a new feature.
In the left top corner in the timeline there is a new button:
Insert or overwrite sequences as nests or as individual clips.

Hi, this is the function that I really do want to use, however I can not find it anywhere on my Adobe Premiere. It’s the latest and I just updated in Creative Cloud.

I want to have a nested sequence and then edit it in the viewer onto a new sequence but have the original clips come down, not the nested clips.

Can you help me find where this function is and if I need to turn it on somehow?

    Jo
