I don’t know, what are you doing?

There is no one fantastic perfect workflow. If you’re editing a 60 minute documentary with a few titles and a ton of lower thirds, you can keep everything in Premiere, color grade in Premiere, and dynamic link in the motion graphics.

If you’re editing a feature-length film you may want to do all your editing in Premiere and then bring the full film (or each sequence in) as layered comps after edit lock so you can do your visual effects, camera smoothing, and heavy color correction and grading with multiple masks and layers.
