Premiere, AfterEffects, multiple dynamic link problem
hello,
currently running the Adobe Creative Suite 4 (CS4)
i can quickly rule hardware or operating system out of this problem.. core i7 2.66, 12gb 2066mhz ram.. windows vista x64.. running stable for nearly one year
ive been having this same problem since CS3..
when right clicking any clip on a premiere timeline and choosing ‘Replace with After Effects Composition’.. i can work and finish my composition perfectly fine in After Effects, save and return to premiere.. when working on in Premiere, choosing a second clip to do the same process to, saving in After Effects, and returning to Premiere the second clip is the same as the first etc..the same problem may be described better here
https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/892302i have read a few threads saying that selecting more than one clip in premiere THEN replace with after effects composition would work, and i can imagine it will… but this means all my effects will need to be thought up before even sitting down at the computer, is really not appropriate for any serious workflow
i have tried exporting the replaced sequence in various forms with no compression etc to directly import and take the dynamic link out of the equation but the quality difference is STILL noticeable regardless of export settings
any help would be aprichiated.. and apologies if it is a repeated topic, but 30 mins of searching the forum hasn’t given me any answers lol
with love
Steve
