  Premiere 2018 importing ALIAS

  Hello
  I open old XML files from FinalCutpro 7 in Premiere.
  As the Media is in various different Drives, I crated 2 folders for Video (MOV, and Stills) and AUDIO with (WAV and other sound files).
  Premiere 2018 gives a generic error which prevents locating the files although their ALIAS appears in the window.
  Is there a system to allow Premiere to open the original media from it’s ALIAS or i need to locate the original Media in order to import it in the project?
  Any suggestions to read ALIAS for media in Premiere?
