Premiere 2017 Not Sending Exports to AME
Posted by Benjamin Ahr harrison on January 13, 2017 at 5:27 pmI’m having a little issue with Premiere not sending exports to the Media Encoder Queue. In the Export dialog in Premiere, if I hit the Queue button, it runs a little export progress bar, and AME launches, but nothing shows up in the queue. Any ideas?

January 26, 2017 at 7:04 pmHey! Just back to say that I uninstalled and reinstalled AME, trashing the preferences in-between for AME and anything that looked like Adobe background software and it now works fine! Thanks everyone.

Sounds like you’ve solve the problem I’m currently having.
I’m going to uninstall and reinstall AME – but could you clarify “…anything that looked like Adobe background software?”
Not to sound ignorant, but what would that look like?Don Wellman

February 2, 2018 at 6:32 pmYeah! When you’re looking in the preferences folder, there are a lot of adobe preferences that aren’t specifically labeled as Premiere or Adobe Media Encoder. I don’t remember what all they’re called, but it’s a good bet to just grab anything labeled Adobe and trash it.
