Premier Pro unable to read the entire footage
My Premier Pro as well as After Effects under the CS5 Creative Suite, have unexpectedly stopped reading a video footage which has been rendered from the same software from the same machine.. The footage (which is a 30:46 mins video file) was edited and rendered from the same software (premier Pro). Now, when i am importing the same file, premier pro is able to read it till 9:07 mins and not beyond that.. Same is the case with After Effects. The file otherwise is working fine (as in when i am playing it on vlc).
I need to make some minor changes to it and this is giving me problems… Need suggestions.. -

Mine is a mac book pro, Snow Leopard (10.6.7) with 8 GB ram and 500 GB HD. The file is an .mov (H.264 compression) 12 GB video file.

So you rendered out a H.264 file from AE and it won’t fully play in Premiere Pro. Can you re-render? Sounds like the clip might be corrupt.

No. Not from AE. From Premiere Pro only but the ext. harddisk which was the source of the footage has crashed now. So, now when i need to make any changes into it, all i have is the previously rendered file which is not being fully read by the either Premier Pro or AE.
