    I just started having an issue with Premier Pro .exe continuing to run in the background. I have to manually stop the process to open a new project. I found a few references to this problem but nothing definitive for a solution. Any ideas as to why this is happening. I haven’t installed any weird codecs or anything recently.

    For the benefit of anyone searching for this problem later I was able to solve the issue by simply updating my NVIDIA drivers. I’m guessing that a recent WINDOWS update was not compatible with my older NVIDIA driver and caused a conflict somewhere along the line.

    Well, the issue is back. Not sure why. Windows has updated again. I have made sure all my drivers are up to date but I am still getting the .exe process continuing to run after the program is closed.
