  • Premier Pro CS3 skipping/shaking after export

Using .mpg movies in PremProCS3, along with a text title page and a .mov taken on IPhoto. After exporting to hardrive and or straight to dvd, all but the .mpg clips are fine… the .mpg are shaking and jittering etc……it plays fine in the PPro application…only when I export.

what am I doing wrong, can someone provide me with the correct output settings when exporting or writing to dvd or enlighten me on what to do.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Rich,

Just had this problem myself. What I did to fix it was to right click on the offending video files in the timeline and go to Field Options. I just changed the Processing Options to “Always Deinterlace” and that seems to have fixed it for me.

    Good Luck!

wish i could help! i have the same prob but it is with the crawling text and the Boris crawling text which are FCP texts.

everything plays smooth and sweet when played on the FCP sequence. Ive tried about 6 different ways to export the sequence into quicktime but when i play back the export version, the text jitters and staggers and depending on the settings i use to export – the images sometimes jitter.

Im pretty sure it has something to do with with original settings and export settings…….which im sure you already knew!!

    Its very frustrating!!

    What Now?

Right click on the video file in the Timeline, and be sure “Frame Blend” is DESELECTED.
That did it for me, hope it helps you out!
