    Would very much appreciate ity if someone could point me in the direction of how I can create a color or black or white border around a clip frame(s) that is/are within the main frame. Also, how can the edges of these frames be softened/blurred/blended into background frame.

    Use the Perspective filter. The Bevel Edges is cool and make it .03 or 0.05 use the drop shadows. You can use Transform filter too. My fav is edge feather. Plat with this 2 and see if that is what you like
