I just switched to a new editing computer, but Premier is crashing before I can begin using it. It loads to the initial screen and I choose “New Project” as soon as I import footage, it just disappears. If I open it back up and choose the same project, it disappears immediately. AE and other programs work fine. Here is my config:

Dual AMD Opteron Model 2354 (2.2 GHz) (Quad−Core)
    2 x 4GB DDR2−667
    NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 768MB
    2 x 150GB 10,000rpm SATA 16MB Cache (System drives)
    2 x 500GB 7,200rpm SATA 32MB Cache (RAID Storage)
    Windows XP Professional Edition SP2C
Windows XP Professional x64 Edition on separate drives for dual boot

I’m running Premier under x64 – is that a problem – I understood it was supported.
    Thanks
