Premeire OMF to mix in ProTools – Not Able to Mix MultiChannel WAV files

Audio: Multichannel WAV files recorded on set. Each WAV file per take has multiple channels for example: Channel 1:Boom mic | Channel 2: Lav on character A Channel 3: Lav on Character B etc.In Premiere Pro CS4 – I link these WAV files to the video and I can see the multiple tracks all different.
I export an OMF to ProTools and it will not bring in the separate channels form the WAV file in order to mix individually.
Any Ideas?

Hello… I’m having this same problem, did you find any solution for this?
I’ve tried exporting FCP XML and then processing a new OMF from FCP, but that way I end up with sync problems.
