  Prem Pro CS3 audio becomes intermittent after a while

  This is a problem I’ve lived with for a while but it really should be fixed. I’m working on a project and all is fine as I play the edit repeatedly, but eventually the audio starts to become intermittent. It’s as though there is a buffering problem and it’s asking for more audio data than it can deliver (I have 8GB of RAM). On After FX I would use Purge to to deal with similar video rendering probs.

  Is there some kind of setting I can adjust to manage this? Or is there a limit relating to preview files…I’m guessing here.

  System: Running XP64bit Quad core 8GB RAM
  Scratch Discs: C: 62.5GB J:1.25TB

  Any thoughts?
