  precision and the slice tool

  Hi,

  I’m using the Slice Tool and the Slice Select Tool for the first time. And I’m trying to precisely match a small piece of the artwork. Some 6 by 6 px (It’s supposed to be a tiling background). But the Slice tool is sort of operating on a different grid, it snaps but in the wrong places. Also it seems I can’t stretch a slice to very small dimensions, such as the mentioned 6 by 6 px. Also at times it seems I can’t stretch a slice at all.

  Can anyone help? How to get precision from this Tool?
