I have applied Neat video plugin to two clips in my project. I can render the clips separately without a problem, but when I am rendering the whole project, Neat video needs more memory. So I was wondering if its possible to somehow prerender those clips and then render the other clips without the need of extra memory. (I am rendering it to MainConcept AVC MP4)

I just tried to prerender by pressing shift+B, but it didnt help… “Neat Video cannot get free memory block from the operting system or plug-in host. 9216000-byte memory block is requested” 🙁

What if you do shift M or “Selectively Prerender Video”? Does that help?

This option doesnt offer me ManConcept AVC MP4, only MPEG2… Is it a problem when I need the whole project render in MP4?

    You could:
    1. Solo your track (eg, clip1 with Neat FX)
    2. Render to an intermediate file
    3. Insert track below (1)
    4. Insert result of (2) into new track
    5. Unsolo and mute track in (1)

New track has the clip with all FX rendered.
    Repeat for your other clips.

If you need an alpha channel, you could render (2) to:
    a. avi (uncompressed)
    b. mov (animation)
    c. mov (png)

    (b) seems to work well in most cases for me.

If you don’t need an alpha, you could render (2) to:
    d. avi
    e. mov (photo jpeg)

    Either should work well.
