Howdy, I created a title using pro titler. Do media generated titles have to be pre rendered? Or, can I just leave it and render it with all the other events? Also, if I have to prerender it, how do I know that this process is completed? I thought I prerendered through tools, but the program never told me the process was complete. I was able to view it through audio preview and it played correctly over ten seconds.

    Thks in advance.

You can render it along with all other effects and edits. One render.

Okay, then what is the purpose of pre rendering?

I use it when I have a clip that’s too long for the amount of RAM I have to let me preview in Best/Full.

Also when using alot of effects and or transitions on slower machines, your preview framerate may not be satisfactory enough for you to tell if it’s good or not. Ram previews are good here as well.

Okay, but how do you know it has completed the pre render, as I ran one the other day, and there was no indication that it had completed?

If you mean a Shift+M pre-render, a dialog box will come up.
Choose the desired format and, when the pre-render is finished, the box disappears and it’s ready to be played.
