ppro to ae to you tube
any tutorials on using ppro 1.5 and ae to compress for you tube. Also do I need to export to a movie to bring into ae to compress? sorry for being uninformed. We are on vacation in Hawaii and trying to post to you tube with a laptop and older software. Thanks Tag

Once you’ve edited your sequence together in Premiere just close that program, open After Effects, and import that Premiere project into AE. It brings in all the video clips already edited for you with no need for rendering or compressing. However, you do not need to compress video for YouTube anymore. YouTube’s own page tells you that the higher quality you upload it, the better it will look. They even do HD now. Look at YouTube’s help; it’ll tell you what you need to know.
The only reason you’d need to use AE at all for your family vacation videos is if you need some complicated titles or compositing.
I mean, I know I’d like to add an exploding volcano nearly engulfing my children in flaming death into my vacation videos, but I’m not going to do all that AE work while I’m ON vacation.– The Great Szalam
