PPro CS5.5 Can’t see footage in timeline & program monitor
I imported a Final Cut Pro XML file from CS 6 to work in CS 5.5. When I click my timelines, I can see some clips but most are black but only in the timeline & Program monitor. I can see them in the Bin and in the Source Monitor. I’ve tried relinking the raw footage but it doesn’t work. All my footage was shot on a PMW-EX1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Was this footage transcoded?
Are there files of certain types that can’t be seen?
Do you see some camera footage clips, but not others?

None of the clips have been transcoded. It’s taken straight from the EX1 in its native format.
I can see some but others I cannot.

Is this on a different machine than the CS6 project was on?
I’m wondering if you cleaned your media cache database (in preferences) and brought in the project and relinked the media? It sounds as if the application believes it has some cached previews someplace.
Are there preview files that come up missing when you launch the project?
And…not to be insulting…but you do have all the video tracks in the timeline turned ‘on’ and visible, right?
