    Hi
Anyone have experience in transcoding H.264 DSLR footage when using PPro?

Is there any advantage in doing so? I recall reading something about working in higher bit depths, but not sure the difference would be noticeable with DSLR footage.

No. There is no reason to transcode HDSLR footage for Premiere Pro CS5 or CS5.5.
