    Dear Cows,
I’ve been having this problem with PPro 5.5.2:

When capturing footage from Betacam (through SDI), PPro doesn’t seem to handle footage that is longer than 20 minutes. the capture completes successfully but then no file is created and I’m receiving a log file with the error: Capture Failed: Captured no frames.

I’m been eliminating all options on “Device Control” menu, capturing to different project, changing the sequence settings to the card’s default, capturing to different HD’s and cleaning all media cache. nothing seems to work.
however when capturing short footage (such as 5 minutes or 10 minutes long, everything seems to work fine).

in addition, capturing long footage with Final Cut Pro or Blackmagic Media Express works like a charm.

    Here are the specs:

    Model Name: Mac Pro
    Model Identifier: MacPro5,1
    Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Xeon
    Processor Speed: 2.93 GHz
Memory: 32 GB 1066 Mhz DDR
    Videocard: ATI Radeon HD 5870
    OS: OSX 10.7.3

    Capture Card:
    Blackmagic Multibridge Pro 2
    Drivers: Desktop Video 9.0

    Software:
    Adobe Premiere 5.5.2
    (Adobe Production Premium)

Hope someone got the answer, Adobe tech team seems to be puzzled about it.
    Thanks in advance!
    Asaf.
