PPro 5.5 – Keyboard shortcut to move playhead to previous edit point?
I know there is a keyboard shortcut like this in FCP, but I can’t seem to find this in Premiere Pro CS 5.5.2
I do a lot of deleting of clips using the ripple delete function and the playhead winds up after the edit point into the next clip. The time it takes to move the playhead to the previous edit point really adds up after hundreds or thousands of ripple deletes.
I have found the move ‘playhead to cursor shortcut’ and this saves some time but I want a shortcut to move it to the previous edit point in the timeline.

It doesn’t exist in 5.5. You will have to go to your keyboard shortcuts and map it yourself. I would sugest to the same keys as you were used to in FCP7. Or choose the FCP7 keyboard layout.

Actually I found it, it’s Page Up, previous edit point. Now I can map this to whatever I want. Thanks for responding so quickly.
