  • PPro 2.0: Disappointed with lack native DVCPRO support

Posted by Brad Abrahams on January 17, 2006 at 2:32 pm

When reading the new features list for PPro 2.0 I was very surprised to see no mention of native support for DVCPRO50 or DVCPROHD. nor any mention of compatibility with the Panasonic HVX200 camcorder (nor the Canon XLH1’s frame mode for that matter). I for one have continually requested this support from Adobe. Is anyone else feeling let down?

Waiting for NAB anyway. I think Adobe rolled this out to brunt the impact of
any Apple announcements pre-NAB. Until Adobe incorporates native import of
    .mxf – Not interested.
    Thanks Anyway

The Canon frame-mode and it seems like the HVX-200 from Panasonic will be supported by Cineform.
