Just got AE CS3, but am still working on Premiere Pro 2. I am bringing a project into AE from Premiere Pro that had some footage slowed down via the rate stretch tool. I know that AE offers superior frame blending to Premiere Pro 2 (which has been remedied in Premiere Pro CS3). My question is this: Am I degrading the quality of the slo-mo by starting in Premiere Pro OR does AE “take care of” the quality issues when I bring it in?

I have the frame blending mode set to Pixel Motion in AE.

    Thanks,
    Rob

You’d be better off doing it in After Effects. I’m not aware of this being part of the Dynamic Link setup so you’d be degrading the footage doing it this way.
